William DeWitt “Dee” Alexander, Jr., 56 of Mechanicsville, MD passed away November 13, 2014 at Hospice of the Chesapeake, Harwood, MD after a 4-year battle with Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease. Born October 7, 1958 in La Plata, MD, he was the son of William DeWitt Alexander, Sr. and Evelyn Marie Silvius. Dee worked as an Assistant Service Manager in the field of industrial water treatment for 33 years. He was a member of the Chaptico Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness, where he served for a while as a Ministerial Servant. Dee loved his family and he loved to spend time with them. He always looked forward to annual family trips to the Carolina beaches, and enjoyed golfing and fishing with friends. Dee dedicated his life to doing Jehovah’s will on November 2, 1996. From that day forward, he especially enjoyed giving his time and talents to working on the Regional Building Committee (RBC) as the Assistant Plumbing Overseer, building Kingdom Halls, places of worship for Jehovah’s Witnesses.
