Ann Frances Lee, of Callaway, MD passed away on December 11, 2014 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Born November 5, 1937, in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Walter James and Helen Watt McConnell. After graduation from Cambria Heights High School, Ann accepted a position with the U.S. Navy Department, before retiring to raise her children. On April 7, 1956, she married her beloved husband, William Jackson Lee. Together they celebrated 42 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in November 1998. Ann was very talented, learning to embroider at the early age of seven. She taught herself how to crochet and later learned to quilt, making many beautiful pieces. Exercising on a regular basis for the past 30 years, Ann enjoyed jazzercise at the Garvey Center and Loffler Center. She also enjoyed canning, baking, going to flea markets and taking daytrips. Her flea market finds led to an expansive collection of Depression glass and juice reamers. She enjoyed traveling to Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Florida.
