Nancy L. Adams passed away early on March 17, 2015 at her home in Hampton, VA. She was born in 1938 in Washington, D.C. Nancy was the mother of 12 children, grandmother of 41 children, great-grandmother of 56 children and great-great grandmother of one child. Nancy is preceded in death by many loved ones including her husband of 54 years, Ralph J. Adams. Nancy is survived by six brothers and sisters, 10 children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She touched numerous lives with her generosity and caring nature and will be missed by many. Nancy was very proud of all of her children and loved being surrounded by babies, in fact, the more children the better. She would more often than not go out of her way to feed, clothe, and tend to all who crossed her path, putting the needs of others before herself. Nancy spent the better part of her marriage to Ralph helping run several locksmith businesses including Adams Safe & Lock and Adams Lock & Key in MD and VA.
