Mrs. Penrose was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, May 6, 1937, a daughter of Howard and Laura (Kyle) Plouf and was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Springfield. She resided over 35 years in Billerica before moving to Mechanicsville, MD and then in 2009 moved to Townsend. Mrs. Penrose worked in the quality control department of Belmont Industries in Billerica, retiring in 1999. She enjoyed listening and dancing to Country & Western Music, her trips to Nashville and loved bowling. She is survived by her son and wife, Guy A. & Chickie Penrose with whom she resided in Townsend; her daughter and husband, Pam M and David Kern of Mechanicsville, MD; a sister and husband, Nancy and William Devlin of Milford 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Keith E. Penrose of Florida.
