Joseph “Chester” Quade, 83 of Brandywine, MD passed away on March 19, 2015 in Clinton, MD. Born on March 3, 1932 in Hughesville, MD, he was the son of the late Mary Lessie Owens Quad and John Hillary Quade. Chester is survived by his siblings; Wilmer E. Quade, Joseph Harold Quade, and Elsie Beard. He was preceded in death by his siblings; John Francis Quade, Alice Mae Hamilton, James H. Quade, Mary L. Wolfinger, Ernest L. Quade, Anna L. Jenkins and David L. Quade. He attended Hughesville School, graduating High School in Roanoke, VA. Chester served in the United States Air Forces, while serving in the Air Force; he earned the National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Award, and Air Force Longevity Award. Chester loved to go on trips, and eat cheeseburgers with a of drink coke cola. He also loved to dance and listen to old time hymns. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with prayers recited at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD.
