Mary Adele Hoffman, 69 of Hughesville, MD passed away on April 4, 2015. She was born in Riverdale, MD to the late Edward and Adele (Folle) Trumbule. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Hoffman, and two brothers, Robert and David Trumbule. Mary is survived by her three sons, Barton Hoffman of Clarence Center, NY, and Eric Hoffman and Jason Hoffman of La Plata, MD; brother, Gerald Trumbule of Denver, CO; six grandchildren, Damien, Anna, Blaine, Avery, Aidan, and Logan; her loving and caring companion, Bernie Magill; and Mary’s God-sent friends Stephanie Hoffman and Pamela Brown who helped and loved her to the end. Mary enjoyed simplicity, being outdoors, sharing life experiences with her grandchildren, knitting, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Mary’s greatest enjoyment came from sharing her love with others. She loved and cared about everyone around her and always put others first. She remained genuine to the end.
