Ethel Beatrice Moran, 87 died on Monday May 19, 2015 at her residence in Charlotte Hall, MD. Born in Mitchellville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Samuel Kidwell and Mary Elizabeth Kidwell. Ethel enjoyed farming, canning vegetables, and caring for children. In addition to her parents, Ethel was predeceased by her husband, James William ‘Bill’ Moran; siblings William Kidwell, Calvin Kidwell, James “Buddy” Kidwell, Charles “Doc” Kidwell, Alvin “Skip” Kidwell, Dave Kidwell, Elizabeth “Betty” Wood, and Hilda Farmer. She is survived by sons, James Richard “Rick” Moran, and Walter “Wally” M. Moran, Sr.; daughters, Nancy Bell and Marsha Trahan; sister, Kathleen ‘Sissy’ Leonard, her 16 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends for Ethel’s Visitation from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Thursday, May 21, 2015, with prayers at 7:00 pm at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd, Charlotte Hall MD. A Funeral Service will be on Friday, May 22 at 11:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Church in Mechanicsville, MD, with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD 20735.
