Timothy “Timmy” James Barnes, 57 of Mechanicsville, MD passed away July 5, 2015 at his residence in Mechanicsville, MD. Born February 1, 1958 in Leonardtown, MD. He was the son of the late Walter and Vivian Barnes. Timothy was a member of the Mechanicsville Moose Lodge #495. He enjoyed golf, billiards, fishing, crabbing, and spending time with family and friends. Timothy is survived by his loving wife, Ginger Barnes; children, Niki Barnes (Carlos Mays – Fiancée), Bushwood, MD, Michael Barnes, Christopher Barnes and Elizabeth Barnes of Mechanicsville, MD; siblings, David Barnes (Karen), Lusby, MD, Louie Barnes (Joann), Rockhill, SC, Edna Adams (Neal), Mechanicsville, MD, Ellen Holcomb (David), Callaway, MD, Susie Barnes, Upper Marlboro, MD, Ruth Wallon (Jack), Ohio, Martha Barnes, Ridge, MD, and granddaughter Madalyn Mays. The family will receive friends for Timothy’s Life Celebration Gathering on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 4-6 pm with a Memorial Service at 6 pm at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.
