Thomas Gregory “Gregg” Fisher, 68 died Wednesday, July 15, 2015 in Mechanicsville, MD at the home he shared with the love of his life Patricia Jean Fisher. Gregg and Patty had recently celebrated thirty years of marriage. Gregg was born in the Bronx, NY on May 29, 1947 to the late John A. Fisher and Margaret F. Fisher (née Tarbell). He was also predeceased by his brother Gordon Lewis and his sister Frances Barnes. Gregg was a proud member of the Saint Regis Mohawk tribe of Akwesasne, NY, a part of the Iroquois Nation. He served in the United States Navy and received the National Defense Service Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Dominican Republic). Gregg retired after working for nearly 25 years as a welder for the Brotherhood of Boilermakers out of Union Local #193 in Baltimore, MD. He also ran his own small business (Iroquois Moon) selling Native American beaded crafts and sweet grass baskets. Gregg was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, known to all of his grandchildren as “Duda”.
