David Joseph “Dave” Williams, 58 of Solomons, MD passed away peacefully on September 3, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born July 31, 1957 in Washington, DC, he was the son of Margaret E. (McDermott) Williams and the late Leighton D. Williams. Dave graduated from Crossland High School in 1975. He moved to the area from Germantown, MD in March of 2015 and was the co-owner of Valid Electric Company. Dave is survived by his mother, Margaret E. Williams of Solomons, MD; his children, Taylor Leigh Williams of Bethesda, MD and Morgan Elizabeth Williams of Germantown, MD; and his siblings, Kathleen W. Pedersen of Solomons, MD, Jonathan Williams of Bowie, MD and Lorraine Johnson of Clinton, MD. Family will receive friends on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 225 Alexander Street, Solomons, MD 20688. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Germantown Pregnancy Center, 13230 Executive Park Terrace, Germantown, MD 20874.
