Eloise Hall Peterson, 97 died September 13, 2015 after a brief illness at St. Mary’s Nursing Center, Leonardtown, MD. Mrs. Peterson was born the daughter of Edna Morris and Herman Hall. She was reared in Ashland Kentucky and later resided in Southeast Ohio after graduating from high school. She relocated to Arlington, VA following World War II and worked at the Department of Defense and the White House in the succeeding years. Mrs. Peterson was a resident of Ridge, MD, having moved there in 1965 from Arlington, VA. She was an employee of the Surface Effect Ship Facility at the Patuxent Naval Air Station for ten years, retiring in 1975. Beloved by her family and a wide circle of friends and possessing an effervescent and outgoing personality, Mrs. Peterson remained actively engaged socially until the end. She was always animated by a playful sense of humor and consistently made a positive impression on all who she encountered, inspiring new bonds and loyalty at every turn. She was a sophisticated consumer who loved to shop and always appreciated great deals.
