Luzviminda “Lumie” Cecilio Hameed, 59 of Lexington Park, MD, died on October 26, 2015 at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 5, 1955 in Cebu City, Philippines, she is the daughter of the late Consorcio Cecilio and Anecita Villa de Gracia. On October 26, 1989, Lumie married her beloved husband, Malaki Hameed in Omaha, NE. Together they celebrated 26 wonderful years of marriage. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and friend. Lumie was employed at Webster Field, St. Inigoes MD from 2003 to 2014. She was a BINGO enthusiast, a very avid bowler, a savvy energetic shopper, and loved jewelry. She travelled extensively with her husband as he served his country for 26 years in the United States Air Force. Lumie has made dear friends all over the United States and the world through her many travels. She particularly enjoyed living in San Diego, CA and taking trips to Las Vegas, NV where she enjoyed playing the slots and going to the shows.
