Michael Paul Owens, 54 of Brandywine, MD, passed away suddenly on December 1, 2015. Born October 21, 1961 in Washington DC, son of John E. Owens and Diane B. Owens of Franklin, West Virginia. Michael grew up in Forestville, MD and later Temple Hills, MD. His first love was motorcycles and he began riding at a young age. When Michael was 16, his parents bought his first motorcycle, a 1977 Triumph Bonneville 750, for doing well in school. Later he purchased his first Harley, a 1976 Harley Davidson Sportster from his cousins Bill and Debbie Hickey. His passion for riding only grew from there! Nothing made him happier than riding his motorcycles and there are countless, cherished memories riding with his wife Julie, and side by side with his father, brothers, cousins and many special friends. Michael proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years. He then worked at AC Automotive, PG County Police Fleet Maintenance, and in 1994, The United States Government Printing Office, for which he worked for 21 years.
