Robert L. Stone, 77, of Park Hall, MD passed away on December 28, 2015, in Leonardtown, MD. Born on September 7, 1938 in Leonardtown, MD he was the son of the late Dorothy Hammett Stone, and Ernest L. Stone, Sr. Robert was the loving husband of the late Catherine Ford Stone, whom he married on October 10, 1956 in Leonardtown, MD, and who preceded him in death on February 7, 2015. Robert is survived by his children: Robert Stone (Moe) of Park Hall, MD, Kelly (Billy) of Sonntag of Avenue, MD, Sandra Schlosser of California, MD, Roberta (Jon) Sola of St. Mary’s City, MD, 5 grandchildren; Kimberly Murray, Bobby Lee Raley, Adam Schlosser, Bella Sola, and Evan Sola, Great Grandchildren: Kori, Kyndle, Gunner, and Kinsley Raley, and Rowan Murray. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Ernest L. Stone, Jr., Hammett Stone and Martha Easterling. He graduated from St. Michael’s Catholic School in 1955 and was a lifelong resident of St. Mary’s County, MD.
