Warren Irving Barrows of Charlotte Hall, MD and formerly of Takoma Park, MD and Selbyville, DE passed away on February 8, 2016, at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. He was born on May 9, 1923, in Takoma Park, MD to the late Jesse Sumner and Beatrice Barrows. Warren worked for Thompson’s Dairy (Sealtest) in Washington, D.C., owned and operated Barrows Service Center in Hyattsville, MD, and later worked driving the bus for the town of Ocean City, MD. He enjoyed spending time with his family, doing ceramics, taking photographs, driving, and telling jokes. In addition to his parents, Warren was predeceased by his wife of 71 years, Mary Ethel Barrows, their son, Gary Alan Barrows, and his brother, Sumner Barrows. Warren is survived by his loving children, Nancy Elizabeth Maisel (Stan), Jesse Stephen Barrows (Tanya), Warren Michael Barrows (Charlotte), Mark Alan Barrows (Debbie), Margaret Ann Kilner (Joseph), Gregory Dean Barrows (Maria), Kevin Patrick Barrows (Tina) and Donna Marie Crutchfield (Mark); 33 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Russell.
