Linda Stamm, 99, of Lexington Park, MD passed away on June 12, 2016 at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital, Leonardtown, MD surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born on December 27, 1916 in Anne Arundel County, MD to the late Emil and Anna Marie Friener Engelskirch. Linda was employed as a beautiful seamstress for many years. She also enjoyed crocheting. She always showed much love by preparing many delicious meals for her family. She was an excellent cook. She spent many years taking care of her family, friends and neighbors. She was very giving of herself and dedicated to the service of others. Linda is survived by her children, Charles Stamm (Lorraine) of Lexington Park, MD, Joan Zabel of Littlestown, Pa, Frank Stamm (Sally) of FL, Roy Stamm (Sherry) of Leonardtown, MD and Jean Pearson of Nokesville, VA; 28 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Linda is also preceded in death by her husband’s, James Shriver and Roland Henry Stamm, her sons, James and Albert Shriver and granddaughter Karen Evon Stamm, two sons in law Dave Zabel and Ralph Pearson.
