Donald “Don” Richard Gooding, 73 of Clements, MD passed away on December 7, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital with his family at his side. Don was born on March 3, 1943 to the late Clarence Wilson Gooding, Sr. and the late Hilda Grace Willett in Washington, D.C. Don was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed his family, cars, hunting, westerns, cookouts and was an avid reader. Don was a member of the Moose and Elks Lodge, and was a 32nd Degree Mason; affiliated with three lodges. In addition to his parents, Don was predeceased by his brother, Clarence W. Gooding, Jr. Don is survived by his loving wife, Carmen Bauer Gooding; daughters, Donna M. Flaherty (David), Donella M. Gooding (Chris Williams); step-sons, William Borza, Andrew M. Borza (Danielle), Kenneth M. Johns (Angelina), Bentley L. Johns (Stephanie Hughes); step-brother, Alvin Jameson (Ellen); brothers, William Willett (Edna), Paul Willett (Sharon) and grandchildren, Brittany Gooding, Allison Flaherty, David Flaherty, Abigale Flaherty, Kayla Borza, and Michael Borza.
