Dorothy Mae Talbott, 70 of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on May 18, 2014 at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. She was born on May 14, 1944 in Alexandria, VA to the late Richard L. German and the late Elsie M. Parker. Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother that enjoyed baking, craft shows, family vacations and eating crabs. She made cakes for weddings and special occasions. Dorothy and Malcolm were married on August 26, 1961. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her brother, Larry Sliger and one of her sisters, Rose Johnson. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Malcolm E. Talbott; sons, Malcolm E. Talbott, Jr. (Tammy); Richard L. Talbott; Ronnie A. Talbott (Teresa); daughter, Tammy L. Gibson (Robert); sister, Peggy Henderson; 10 grandchildren, Brandy, Ashley, Amber, Jessica, Taylor, Nicolas, Courtney, Sara ; and three great-grandchildren, Emma, Skylar, Kai Malik.
