Clarence Leroy “Lee” Wilkinson, Sr., 81 of Brandywine, MD passed away on August 18, 2014 at Charles County Nursing & Rehab Center in La Plata, MD. He was born on May 10, 1933 in Prince George’s County, MD to the late George F. Wilkinson and the late Mary Helen (Tippett) Wilkinson. Lee loved playing bingo, going hunting, and anything else involving the outdoors. He also loved listening to his dogs run and was full of life. Lee retired from Goad Lumber Company. Lee is survived by his lifetime loving companion, Bessie Wilkinson; son, Clarence L. Wilkinson, Jr. (Holly); his grandchildren, Clarence, III, Amanda, and Joey; daughter, Bonnie Whitlow (Trent); son, Richard Wilkinson (Debi); son, James Boswell (Darlene); brother, Harry Wilkinson (Mary Jane); five additional grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents, Lee was predeceased by his brothers, Francis, Claude, George, James “Pete”, and Elmer “Jack”; and sister, Doris.
