Beatrice Jones, 79, of Chesapeake, VA passed away on February 22, 2016 in Chesapeake, VA. Born on December 6, 1936 in Aiken, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Lousiana Oakman, and Dolphus Smith. Beatrice is survived by her daughter Arlene Miles of Chesapeake, VA. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles B. Covington officiating. Interment will follow in Galilee Cemetery Mechanicsville, MD.
