Robinson, loving father of six sons; Kenneth II, Larry, Craig, Wayne, Brian, and Darrell. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Mary – Louise Behe, 80, of Dunkirk, MD passed away July 29, 2016 at Calvert County Nursing Center. She was born October 2, 1935 in Washington DC to Edward Lewis Bayne, Sr. and Marie Theresa Boisse Bayne. She was raised in Moosup, Connecticut. Mary – Louise married Francis Xavier Behe on June 3, 1961 in Washington, DC. They made their home in District Heights moving to Dunkirk in 1971. Due to Francis’ job they had the opportunity to reside in Europe from 1966 – 1970 and again from 1974-1978. In England she was a scout den mother and operated a day care. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at Hadley Memorial Hospital and later operated a day care here for over 20 years. Surviving are her husband of 55 years Francis X. Behe, daughter Patricia Arleen Behe Hickey and her husband John of Bowie, sons Paul F. Teresita was born on October 3, 1947 in Capalayan, Philippines to the late Antonio Payna and Teofilia Daclan. On January 2, 1974 Teresita married her beloved husband, Tony Allen in Olongapo City, Philippines. Together they celebrated over 42 wonderful years of marriage. She was employed as a dedicated sales associate for Walmart in California, MD for over 11 years. She was an accomplished bowler, winning many tournaments and trophies. She loved to sing karaoke with her friends. She even made her own recordings. She was an avid BINGO player and a life time member of ADF in Mechanicsville, MD. She also greatly enjoyed playing the slots at Dover Downs Casino. She was extremely charitable, always buying and giving others gifts. George Milton “Mickey” Thompson, 69, of Mechanicsville died August 2, 2016, surrounded by his family. Born July 18, 1947, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late George E. Thompson and Margaret T. Flaherty Thompson of Silver Hill, MD. He was the husband of Donna Foy Arbaugh Thompson whom he married on November 8, 2013. He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Jean Ann Boteler Thompson, his parents and his brother, Matthew A. Thompson. He is survived by his children, Karen Thompson Boecher and Sharon Thompson, both of Mechanicsville; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Garrett and Gavin Boecher (plus many other children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews by marriage). In addition, he is survived by his sister, Margaret I. Brown, of Charlotte Hall. He moved to St. Mary’s County in 1975 from Silver Hill. He worked as an auto mechanic until retiring to be a stay at home father. Bill enjoyed anything and everything NASCAR. Jack W. Simmons, 85, of Prince Frederick, Maryland passed away on August 2, 2016 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Jack was born on July 5, 1931 in Calvert County, to the late Robinson W. and Helen Mae Monnett Simmons. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Lucille W. Simmons and his sister Marie Boney. After graduation from from Calvert High School, Jack went into the Maryland National Guard where he served from March 30, 1948 until he received an honorable discharge on March 30, 1952. In 1956, Jack married Anne Buckmaster. From that partnership came Jackson Simmons (Sandy), Annette Blaylock (Larry Moore), the late Gene Brady, the late Vicky Simmons, and the late Mary Peacock “Kitten”. In 1978 Jack married Lucille Wilson Rainey, and the family grew with five more daughters: Linda Walton, Kathy Walton, Bonnie Rainey, Patricia Hall, and the late Lisa Viens. John “Raymond” Lankford, Sr., 90, of Solomons Island, MD passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Raymond was born on January 12, 1926 in Solomons Island, MD to the late Frederick and Agnes “Amy” Lankford. Born and raised on Solomons Island for 90 years. He married his beloved wife Betty in 1945 and they raised their ten children. He served as a member for sixty years at the Solomons Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department where he held the past position of president for twelve years. Her family had lived in Laurel, MD before moving to Calvert County when Bobbi was about six years old. Bobbi was a homemaker who had enjoyed horseback riding, dancing, music, swimming and, most of all, being with friends and family. Moore and Edna Marie Harmon Moore. Donald was the loving husband of the late Dorothy Allen Rosenberger Moore whom he married on February 9, 1943 and who preceded him in death on July 18, 1988. He was born on December 1, 1953 in San Francisco, CA to Mary Josephine Romero Schlosser and the late Harold Frederick Schlosser. Duane was a graduate of Great Mills High School in 1972. Audrey Louise Burroughs Aud, 75 of Lexington Park, MD died August 6, 2016 at her home. She was born September 2, 1940 in Leonardtown, MD to the late Andrew Garner and Mary Ida (Polly) Burroughs. She was the sixth of seven children born. She graduated in 1958 from Margaret Brent High School. On May 23, 1959 she married her beloved husband John M. Aud. Together they celebrated over 57 wonderful years of marriage. She drove school buses for St. Mary’s County on and off for the next 30 years and truly enjoyed the contact she had with the many students she transported. She was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her children and helping out with the grandchildren when needed. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos, bowling, and playing the Maryland Lottery. Her family remembers most the large dinners she would always fix at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She enjoyed hearing about what family and friends were doing and sharing special times with them. Mary Louise Barber died Sunday, August 7th, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Mary Lou was a proud native of St. Mary’s County, daughter of William “Frank” Mattingly, and Mary Thompson-Mattingly. She was the doting older sister of two brothers, Billy and Teeny. She married the late Adams Barber in 1947 and was by his side until his death. She took pride in her longevity, in being the family historian, and thought it a great honor to have lived to see her grandchildren grow and start their own families. From 1951 she called Stokely Farm home; it was her pride and joy. A school bus driver for 45 years—until she was 84 years old, bus diesel ran through her veins. Mary Lou was a founding member of the Country Music Club, and its last surviving original member. Christopher “Chris” James Malinis of Dunkirk, MD, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 4, 2016. He was born on July 23, 1961, in Washington, DC. He was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Chris is remembered for his trademark sense of humor and ability to make friends wherever he went. He was a constant jokester and the life of the party. His hobbies included boxing, football and spending time with family. He was a avid Washington Redskins fan, frequently spotted at games in his prized “Snackhouse” jersey. Chris made a huge difference to so many people, including his work with youth group boxing programs. Chris was the devoted father of Cheyenne Malinis, beloved son of Rosemary Marra and loving brother of John Marra, Michael Marra, Robin Stark and her husband Jimmy and Susan Ramsay and her husband John. John Leonard Pirner of Prince Frederick, MD passed away on August 5, 2016 at his home surrounded by loving family. He was a graduate of Gwen Park High School in 1957. He started his career driving a Coca Cola truck and then ventured into working as an Insurance Salesman for many years. During his career, he cared for his wife and five children, as well as serving as an Elder for the Congregation of Jehovas Witnesses in the late 1960’s until 1981. After retirement, he really enjoyed going to a coffee shop in Waldorf, MD where he would gather with good friends. His presence will be greatly missed. He had an unforgettable smile that friends adored, along with a witty personality that kept everyone laughing. All and all, he was a big softie inside that loved his family beyond recognition. Mark W. Alexander of Chesapeake Beach, MD passed away Friday, August 5, 2016. Mark was born in Newark, NJ in 1949. He was raised in Livingston, New Jersey, graduating from St. Benedicts Prep Academy. After high school graduation, Mark attended Fairfield University and went on to Graduate school at Fordham Law School. Mark was a Criminal Defense attorney in Washington, DC for 35 years. He married his love, Sue, in September of 1990 in Prince Frederick, MD. They welcomed their daughter, Kim in 1997. Mark was an avid sports fan; from horse racing, where he owned interest in several thoroughbreds to adoring the New York Yankees and the New York Football Giants.
